Sue

Sue Voigt has been a remarkable employee for the Recreation Department for many, many years and is a fixture as our Senior exercise instructor at the Wauwatosa Senior Center. Sue is a prime example of what the phrase "movement is your medicine" epitomizes. A senior herself, Sue is tremendously active and brings a smile and positive outlook to all the people she comes into contact with. She is a wonderful ambassador to our senior programming and is a perfect example what an active older adult embodies.

"For almost 75 years I have enjoyed the wonderful Wauwatosa Recreation Department programs starting with summer playground (Lincoln), swim lessons (Hawthorne) and tennis (Hart Park). In high school (Tosa East) I was a swim instructor (50 yrs Red Cross WSI) and lifeguard. My love of teaching (especially swim for all ages and exercise including Senior water exercise) has allowed me to continue as a Program supervisor and instructor.

I retired 15 years ago as a Program Coordinator at the Wauwatosa Recreation Department

Leading senior exercise classes at City Hall is a joy. I love the members of the class. They are so much fun, friendly and welcoming to new comers, kind and caring. All want to keep moving, no matter what their activity level. Looking forward to many more years with all my friends at Tosa Rec." ~ Sue V.

Thank you, Sue, for all your years of dedication to the Wauwatosa Senior Center! We love having you part of the recreation team!
