The Tosa East Girls XC team won its 3rd GMC title in 4 years with a score of 64 pts., 14 better than runner-up Brookfield East with 78 pts. MEET RESULTS
Leading the way was Senior Fallyn Moye, earning 1st team all-conference honors with her 8th place finish in 19:03,6. Next up was fellow senior Elise Gardiner in 11th place (19:15.0), earning 2nd team all-conference honors along with sophomores Elsa Krueger (14th / 19:30.3), Loey Anderson (15th/ 19:36.3), and senior Hanane Pokrandt (16th / 19:43.4). Senior Katie Rea earned 3rd team all-conference honors (19th / 19:47.7). Rounding out the varsity team were freshman Claire Christie (26th / 20:21.4 PR), and senior Megan McCaffrey (30th / 20:30,3).
Joining in on the fun, the JV team also placed 1st with a score of 30 pts. 7 clear of runner-up Brookfield East. Senior Ella Bartz led the team with her 3rd place finish and time of 21:48.7. Joining in the team scoring were: Soph. Mallory Arthur (4th / 21:49.1 PR), Freshmen Reese Gendrich (6th / 22:11.5), Sabina Malak (7th / 22:12.2), and soph. Mya Collum (10th / 22:28.8).
Next up is JV State at Mitchell Park and the MKE Reagan WIAA Sectional @ Jackson Park on Saturday, 10/25.
