Each year, the AP Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple AP Exams. Below are the incredible achievements earned by Wauwatosa School District students in 2025.
AP Scholar
AP Scholar Awards come in different levels and types including:
AP Scholar: Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams
AP Scholar with Honor: Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams
AP Scholar with Distinction: Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams
Wauwatosa West High School
66 students (grades 10-12) earned the AP Scholar Award
39 students earned the AP Scholar with Distinction Award
38 students earned the AP Scholar with Honor award
Wauwatosa East High School
76 students (grades 10-12) earned the AP Scholar Award
31 students earned the Scholar with Distinction Award
44 students earned the AP Scholar with Honor Award

AP Capstone
AP Capstone recognizes students with the following awards for their academic achievements:
AP Seminar and Research Certificate: Granted to students who earn scores of 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research
AP Capstone Diploma: Granted to students who earn scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research and on 4 additional AP Exams of their choosing.
Rounding out these academic achievements are 19 students - 7 from Wauwatosa West and 12 from Wauwatosa East High School - who earned the AP Capstone Diploma.
