UPDATE 3/1/2022: School District Mask Policy Update
The Wauwatosa Board of Education voted to align the District’s COVID-19 mitigation strategies with existing School Board Policy 8450 - Control of Casual Contact Communicable Diseases. As part of this decision and alignment, effective immediately, masks are now optional for all individuals inside District buildings. This applies to all staff, students, family members, visitors, volunteers, individuals in Junior Kindergarten and Tosa Tots classrooms, recreation programming and anyone else who enters a Wauwatosa School District building.
It will be up to each family to communicate to their student(s) instructions and expectations regarding mask-wearing. Staff will not enforce mask wearing and should not address masking with students.
