Board Meeting Preview - March 13, 2023
The Wauwatosa School Board will meet for its second meeting of the month on Monday, March 13, 2023. The meeting will be held at the Fisher Administration Building (12121 West North Ave.) in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. A link to the meeting livestream can be found here.
In an effort to streamline Board meetings, the District will provide the Board and the community with recordings of presentations (often referred to as “flipped” presentations) prior to the meetings. Presentations are linked on BoardDocs and within the communication below.
On Monday, March 13, following review of the Consent Agenda, the Board will discuss and potentially take action to approve the Tosa 2075 Task Force. Public comment will be heard on this item.
Ms. Jennifer Fotsch, Director of Continuous Improvement, along with Student Growth Coordinators Brooke DeLassus and Amy Duchac, will present the Gifted and Talented Audit Response, and Ms. Fotsch will present the Grading and Reporting Audit. Ms. Jessica Ebert, Director of Curriculum, will then present the K-12 Science Curriculum Audit Report, as well as the Technology Education + Project Lead the Way Curriculum Audit Report. Public comment will not be heard on these items.
The Board’s Policy Committee will request that the Board take action to approve Revisions or Adopt New Policies that were read on March 6, 2023. Public comment will be heard on this action item.
Pending the results of the Legislative Advocacy Meeting to be held at 5:30 pm on March 13, a revised legislative platform may be presented to the Board. Should a revised legislative platform be presented, the Board will be asked to take action, and public comment will be heard on this item.
Opportunity for public comment on non-agenda items will be provided immediately following the Call to Order and immediately preceding the Board’s adjournment.
