The Wauwatosa School District is accepting registrations for its junior kindergarten (JK) and senior kindergarten (SK) programs for the 2023-24 school year.
The district’s half-day JK experience is for students who will be four years old on or by September 1, 2022. Young students work and play together, using their own creativity in an environment that meets their needs. The program prepares them to be confident, independent learners.
Senior kindergarten is the district’s full-day program, open to children who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2022. Children who are currently enrolled in the district’s junior kindergarten program do not need to enroll for senior kindergarten, as they are already considered WSD students.
“We are ready to welcome the next generation of students to our junior and senior kindergarten programs for the 2023-24 school year,” said Dr. Demond Means, Superintendent. “We invite families to take this important step and launch their child’s educational journey in the Wauwatosa School District, where all students can learn and excel.”
Parents can enroll their child(ren) online via Infinite Campus. Required documentation includes the child’s original birth certificate, a current utility bill showing the parent’s/guardian’s name and address and the child’s most up-to-date immunization record. A mortgage document, property tax bill or a lease/rental agreement showing the landlord’s name and phone number is also required.
