Four High School Student Representatives Join Wauwatosa School District Board of Education

Students from Wauwatosa East and West High School joined the Wauwatosa School District Board of Education as non-voting student representatives for the 2021-22 school year.

The representatives are Katherine Pluta and Nadia Eull (East), and Ella Archambo and Will Flierl (West). The four students will attend board meetings and serve as liaisons between students and board members, providing input on various matters from a student perspective.

Each representative will also communicate board actions and discussions to their fellow students through informational bulletins and other channels.

The board invited juniors and seniors from each high school to apply. The application process included letters of recommendation and interview questions. Board members then selected the four student representatives at the October 11 meeting.

The Board of Education first welcomed student representatives during the 2018-19 school year.
