The Wauwatosa School District greatly values and appreciates the input and diverse perspectives provided by its community members. As we begin to develop an updated strategic plan, all members of the community have been encouraged to provide their thoughts and perspectives via a survey. The results of the survey will help the District identify the primary areas of focus and develop effective strategies that will guide our efforts in the coming months and years.

The District has compiled its Strategic Planning Committee, which is comprised of staff members, parents/guardians, students and community members. Members of this Committee, along with the Board of Education and the Superintendent, will move through five phases of the strategic planning process. At present, members of the Steering Committee are developing goal statements, objectives and action items to present to the School Board on June 27. The Board is on track to act on the strategic plan at its meeting scheduled for August 8, 2022.

Upcoming Strategic Planning Committee meetings are scheduled for May 31, June 7 and June 14, 2022 at 6 pm inside the Wauwatosa West Steiner Center.

United with parents and the community, the Wauwatosa School District delivers an outstanding education that equips and inspires our students to conquer their challenges now and in the future.

Every decision we make as a district is aligned to our five-year strategic plan shown below.
