Mrs. Mary Westphal

I have been lucky enough to be a teacher since 1997 and have spent all of my career in the Wauwatosa School District. I am licensed to teach grades 6-12 in the areas of Social Studies, Psychology and Sociology. I truly enjoy teaching Social Studies. I believe that I was meant to teach Middle School aged children. I have a fun, hands on approach that leads to valuable critical thinking and analysis in my classroom. The kids learn to evaluate information, they debate and argue, and all the while, we are having a great time learning. In addition to being a teacher, I am the mom of two Wauwatosa students, the stepmother of three great guys and the grandmother of a fantastic little man.
