McKinley Activities

Our students participate in a number of activities outside of the classroom to build community and enrich their learning experiences.

Some of our most popular activities, and officially recognized include:

• Cub Scouts (we also have students who are Brownies here but they are not sponsored by the PTO).
• Green Team Club & School-wide Composting (School sponsored and operated)
• Girls on the Run in fall and spring
• Chess Club
• Battle of the Books
• Destination Imagination

Please note, most of the opportunities above are provided and run by organizations outside and separate from our school and District but are frequently participated in among our student body.
