FAQs
Q: I'm having issues with my Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Who should I contact?
A: Support requests for parent/guardian Infinite Campus accounts, such as password resets, etc, can be directed to portalsupport@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us
Q: When will my student's schedule and locker assignment be available?
A: Students' schedules and locker assignments will be available in Infinite Campus starting August 11th. Counselors will be available in person on August 11th from 12:00-6:00pm and August 12th from 9:00am-3:00pm for any scheduling needs.
Q: What are the vaccine records used for? I have my child's vaccine card -- is a copy of that OK?A: Submitting your student's COVID-19 vaccination record is voluntary, but may be used to determine quarantine length if they should experience a close contact or exposure.
For example, if your student had been recently exposed but is fully vaccinated, they would not need to quarantine, provided they are not experiencing symptoms; however, we would need to have proof of vaccination on file in order to permit them not to quarantine and continue to attend school in-person.
Immunization records may be obtained from the Wisconsin Immunization Registry or from your medical provider. As of 8/18/21, vaccination cards ARE now accepted.Q: My student is an incoming freshman who attended summer school and still has their Chromebook from middle school. What should we do with their middle school Chromebook?
A: Please bring the middle school Chromebook to the in-person Chromebook distribution on August 11th and 12th and exchange it for one from the high school. If you aren't able to attend, please exchange in the library during the first week of school.
Q: Does my student need textbooks?
A: Most courses at Tosa East use online resources/e-textbooks. Teachers will give students that information when school starts. Any course that does require students to use a hard copy of a textbook, students will be able to pick them up in the library during the first few weeks of school. Any additional questions regarding books can be directed to Ms. Oliver at oliversa@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us.
Q: I have a question about library resources or my Parent Observer account on Canvas. Who should I contact?
A: Support requests for Canvas Parent Observer accounts, or questions regarding library resources, can be directed to Ms. Oliver at oliversa@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us.
Q: How do I request a school fee waiver/reduction?
A: To request a school fee waiver/reduction, families will need to:
- Have an approved 2021-2022 free and reduced meal application on file; and
- Complete the Sharing Information With Other Programs Google Form.
Even though lunches are free to all students again this year, parents/guardians will still need to file a lunch application for the fee waiver process. As of 8/5/21, the Google Form for the Sharing Information is not active yet. Once the food service office has the meal application posted on their Food Service website, the Sharing form will become available.
