Mrs. Jennifer Schultz

I have been honored to serve the students, staff, and families at Jefferson Elementary School as Principal since 2015.  I am passionate about providing an exceptional learning enviornment that meets the academic and social-emotional needs of each learner.

I began my career as an Elementary Teacher.  During my 10 years in the classroom, I taught a variety of grades at both the primary and intermediate level.  I came to the Wauwatosa School District in 2014 and served as an Elementary Instructional Coach, working alongside teachers in the classroom to provide job-embedded professional development.

I earned by bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Adaptive Education from Carroll College.  I continued my education and earned a Masters Degree in Education from Cardinal Stritch University in 2007.  I obtained a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Carroll University in 2015 to become licensed as a K-12 Principal and K-12 Director of Instruction.  I am currently a doctoral student at Cardinal Stritch University and am working toward earning a Ph.D. in Leaderhip and Learning.

When I'm not at school, I love to spend time with my family.  I have two sons, Jack and Connor, who are both in elementary school.  We also have a yellow lab mix named Maddie, a cat named Oreo, and a Leopard Gecko named Loki.  I am an avid runner and love to compete in marathons and other local races.
