Ms. Melissa Myers

Hello!

My name is Melissa Myers and I am a Reading Specialist at Eisenhower Elementary School. I have been with the Wauwatosa School District since 2013 and bring experience from my work in Special Education and Reading. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a master's degree in reading from Cardinal Stritch University. My work as an educator began in 1999 and has included a variety of school settings and age groups from kindergarten to eighth grade. Learning is my passion and I hope to inspire the students that I work with to be inquisitive and persevere in the face of challenge. 

My love of learning and my enthusiasm for working with students and teachers are just a couple of my interests. I can also be found enjoying the state and county parks with my family, reading a good book, or grabbing some popcorn for the newest super-hero flick. 

It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to the serve the students, families, and teachers of the Wauwatosa School District.
