Mrs. Hannah Abdi-Kinsey

Raised in this fine city of Wauwatosa,  I am a graduate of Washington Elementary, Longfellow Middle School, and Wauwatosa East High School. I graduated from UW-Madison with degrees in History and English. After teaching at a school in Lusaka, Zambia, I got certified as an ELA teacher in grades 6-12 and have been working in Wauwatosa since 2017. In addition to teaching, I am an advisor for BSU and coach basketball. I believe that all students can succeed and deserve the best possible access to education. I am passionate about the power of reading and writing to transform yourself and others to be kinder, empathetic and empowered individuals.
