In the beginning of the 21st century, I ventured from the small town of Sleepy Eye, MN to the University of Minnesota (Go Gophers!) to earn a BA in English. I continued my education to earn an MA in English Education from the University of MN. I have been teaching at Whitman (Go Wolverines!) since 2007. My husband and I live in Brookfield with our two small children, Avery and Jack.
