Ms. Kristen Rymer

Welcome to my profile page!  I have been working as a Special Education Teacher in the Wauwatosa School District since August 2006.  Prior to coming to Wauwatosa, I was an Early Childhood, Autism Specialist for the Clark County School District in Las Vegas.  I have worked at Jefferson Elementary since 2012 and I am so happy to call it my “home school.”  

In 2015, I started the Tosa Tots Academy at Jefferson, in collaboration with Wauwatosa Recreation Department.  The Tots Tots Academy is a pre-school option for 3 year old students in the Wauwatosa area. Opening this program has renewed my passion for teaching. I LOVE teaching inclusive preschool! Three year old children are so genuine and enthusiastic about learning - they make each and every day fun!

I am deeply committed to helping students achieve both academic and social excellence.  I believe that all students are capable of completing great things, when they are given a supportive and nurturing environment.  As a lifelong learner, my goals are to instill the same value and passion for learning in my students.
