Colleen Dardis

¡Hola! I'm Señorita Dardis. I have taught in the Wauwatosa School District since Fall 2003.  I spent a semester at the University of Alcalá de Henares, Spain in the Spring of 2002. While in Alcalá, I had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Spain and learn about its history and culture. I have traveled to Spain with Tosa East students six times, most recently in June 2015, and took a great trip to Costa Rica with students in June 2017. During summers without Tosa East trips, I like to travel as well, going to conferences in Spanish-speaking regions or traveling with teacher groups through the travel company used for our school trips. I have been to Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Panama and Mexico (twice - based in Cuernavaca and Mexico City). In the 2017-2018 school year, I am teaching Spanish 3 and AP Spanish. I am also one of the leaders of the district World Language Content Team, the sponsor of our chapter of the Spanish Honor Society and the official scorer at Tosa East soccer games.
