I started my career as a teacher with the Wauwatosa School District in 2002. I have taught ESL and Spanish at the elementary, middle and high school levels. I graduated from Wauwatosa East High School and received a Bachelor Degree in Education, Spanish and ESL from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2002. I received my Masters in Education from Mount Mary College in 2008. I have also studied in Mexico and Peru. I am the adviser of the Spanish National Honor Society and AFS Club. I also lead the Spanish Study Abroad trips. My class focuses on developing speaking, reading, writing and listening skills in meaningful cultural contexts in order to prepare students to be global citizens. In my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with my husband and three dogs.
