    Building + Facilities Usage

Our District buildings are currently open by appointment only. The Recreation Department is also providing programming at various District facilities. All individuals who wish to enter a District building must comply with our Visitor Guidelines and/or Athletic Department Guidelines. which include wearing a mask and following social distancing protocols.

In the event an individual who has entered a District building contracts COVID-19, the data collected via this form will allow us to identify and notify individuals who may have been exposed. Within 24 hours of receiving confirmation of a positive COVID-19 case, the District will notify individuals who have been in close contact with a COVID-19 positive individual in a District building.

If you have any questions, please contact our District Nursing Team at (414) 773-1990.

    Meals + Nutrition

The District will continue to provide meals to students enrolled in the District, regardless of model of instruction. Please click here for more information. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Joe Maiorelle at maioreljo@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us

    Slow the Spread of COVID-19

We all play a role in reducing COVID-19 in our community. We encourage everyone to practice preventative measures including:

    • Wear a mask or other face covering, unless advised otherwise by a medical professional. Click here to access valuable mask-wearing tips!
    • Practice social distancing and remain at least 6 feet away from non-members of your household.
    • Wash your hands regularly, especially after using the restroom and before preparing or consuming food. Using soap and hot water, wash for at least 20 seconds. Be sure to also wash your fingertips.
    • Avoid coughing or sneezing into your hands or in the air. Always try to cough or sneeze into a tissue, and then throw the tissue away. If you don’t have a tissue, cough/sneeze into your elbow.
    • As much as you can, avoid touching your eyes, mouth, and nose.
    • If children are feeling sick, please keep them home from school and/or other activities. Allow them some time to feel better so that they do not risk infecting others.

Please visit our Reopening Resource Library for more helpful information and tools.

    Travel + Quarantine Guidelines

Students and staff who travel to countries that the federal government has restricted the entry of certain travelers into the United States (as listed here) will be required to quarantine after their return to the United States for 7-10 days. Prior to traveling to a location outlined here, please notify your student’s school and the District Nursing Team ( 414-773-1990 or nurse@wauwatosa.k12.wi.us).

Families and staff must check the list of restricted locations on the date they return from travel to determine if their location is on the list. Information changes regularly as locations are added/removed, so it’s important to check the site on the day you return from travel as information may have changed during your trip.
