Mrs. Meegan Archambo

Through my professional practice as the Elementary Library Media Services Coordinator for our ten elementary libraries, I create and maintain programs and spaces, lead, teach and support each school's library assistant, teachers and students to support our Future Ready Library goals. Our libraries support student-centered learning, collaboration, and large group interactions while providing equitable access to books, e-books, makerspace activities, research databases, technologies and innovative practice.

I began serving in the district in 2011. I am passionate about promoting literacy and the love of reading to our elementary students and staff on a daily basis as well as providing access to technology to meet our students' inquiries. My goal as the Coordinator is to encompass the definition of a Future Ready Librarian. "Future Ready Librarians™ will provide resources, strategies, and connections for district leaders and librarians to be able to work together to promote and implement (equitable) innovative learning opportunities for students.
