East School Profile

  • Wauwatosa East High School is a comprehensive four-year high school located on the East side of Wauwatosa. Students from Longfellow Middle School transition into their high school education here. 

    We offer four world language courses, an award-winning arts program with band, choir, orchestra, and theatre, and have a robust Academic and Career Planning team and Resource Center to ensure our students are college and career ready when they leave our doors.

    Additionally, we have an abundant co-curricular program featuring twelve sports for boys and eleven sports for girls, as well as numerous music and drama activities, and academic competitions.     Advanced Placement courses are offered in art, American government, biology, chemistry, English, mathematics, physics, psychology, U.S. history and world language. Accelerated/intensive courses
    are available in English, mathematics, and science. Students may also take college-level courses. Work-related programs include: Career Connections Cooperative Education and Work Incentive Program.
