I started teaching in the Wauwatosa School District in 2017 and am excited to be a part of such a wonderful district.  I started my teaching career in September 2001.  I love seeing students get excited about their own learning.  I'm excited to be apart of the Whitman learning community and work with various classrooms in 7th grade.

 For college I attended UW-Eau Claire (Go Blugolds!) and received my degree in Elementary/Middle Education.  I then went on to earn my Master's Degree from Cardinal Stritch University as a reading specialist/reading teacher.  As a learner myself I love to keep adding to my knowledge hub.  With that said, throughout the 2022-2023 school year I will also be adding on a K-12 cross category special education license.

I grew up in Tosa and am still happy to call it home.  I have three sons who attend school in the area in addition to my husband and big, loveable yellow lab Ranger.  In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, traveling, anything Bucks or Brewers, and running.
