Mrs. Kimberly Thompson

I am the General Music Specialist for grades SK-5 at Lincoln Elementary and STEM grades SK-5 at Underwood Elementary. I also direct the 4th and 5th grade choirs at Lincoln and Underwood. In my classroom, students experience music through singing, instrumental, movement, and listening activities. Throughout their years in elementary school, students will learn how to perform as part of an ensemble, read standard musical notation, become a critical listener, and appreciate music from all styles and cultures. As the Elementary Music Content Team Leader, I work closely with Curriculum and Instruction to make sure that students receive a well-balanced musical education throughout the District.
