Mrs. Eccles

Hello!  My Name is Tracy Eccles and I am the Library Media Specialist at Longfellow Middle School. I've been teaching in this position since 2014.

Prior to being at Longfellow, I've been many places. Some in Tosa; some not. I started my teaching career as a third grade teacher in 1993 and have been going strong since then!  I have taught second and third grade, been an elementary Library Media Specialist, worked as a District Teacher Leader and am now back to Library Media at the secondary level.

I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education at UW-Madison and earned my Master's of Library and Information Science, specializing in School Library Media at UW-Milwaukee.  My career in the Wauwatosa School District began in 2008 at Wilson/WSTEM, then I went to Madison Elementary in the role of District Teacher Leader for a few years. During my time in Wauwatosa, I've earned the certificate to teach online coursework K-12 in the state of Wisconsin.

Outside of school, I spend a lot of time on my bike, cross country skis and with my nose buried in books. Most of all, I love to spend time with my family and friends. Thanks for reading my profile!
