Celebrating 75 years of theatre in Wauwatosa!

Children's Theatre of Wauwatosa, organized and dedicated to guiding children into a finer appreciation of theater, offers a series of live performances on Saturday afternoons, beginning in October.

All performances begin at 2:00 p.m. The box office opens at 1:30 p.m., and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Single admission tickets:  $4.00 each
(available at the box office on performance days)

Series tickets (includes all 6 performances):  $18.00

How to puchase SERIES tickets ONLINE:

  • CLICK HERE to enter the Wauwatosa Recreation Department's ONLINE REGISTRATION PROGRAM.
  • Log in using your Recreation Department Username and Password (Not registered with us?  Call 414.773.2900 or fill out this I-form and we will email your username & password).
  • Go to SHOP→ ACTIVITY ENROLLMENT
  • Use Activity Number 100000-CT
  • Select one Family Member to enroll, then ADD TO CART.
  • Carefully answer ALL questions asked of you throughout the registration/purchase process, choosing the number of tickets you wish to purchase, informing us of the school your child attends, choosing EAST or WEST SERIES, and letting us know whether or not you are available to usher.
  • Pay for your tickets using your MasterCard or VISA.
  • WATCH YOUR MAILBOX for your series tickets.  Tickets will be mailed via US mail.

How to purchase SERIES tickets at the Wauwatosa Recreation Department office:

  • Our office is located inside of Wauwatosa WEST High School.  Use the EAST entrance of the building.
  • Purchase SERIES tickets during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
  • Pay with cash, check, MasterCard or VISA.
  • Receive your tickets at the time of your purchase.

How to purchase Single Admission Tickets:

  • The Box Office opens at 1:30 p.m. on the day of each performance.
  • Pay with cash (exact change is appreciated) or personal check.  Make all checks payable to Wauwatosa Recreation Department.

Wauwatosa West High School - 11400 W. Center Street

Ticket Information:

  • Children under school age should be accompanied by an adult at all performances.  Children 2 years and older must have a ticket.
  • A ticket purchased for one series is not interchangeable with performances of the other series.  The exception to this is the 1st play of the series, Choose Thine Own Adventure, which is being performed only on October 29 at WEST HIGH.  If you wish to change your date for a performance, special arrangements must be made with the Auditorium Chairperson of your series, or with Mrs. Weber.  See below for contact information.
  • Guaranteed Seats:  All series ticket holders are guaranteed seats, although no special reserved seat is assigned.
  • Single Admissions:  Tickets for an individual performance will be available at the Box Office the day of the play, unless the series is sold out on a series ticket basis.  Single admission is $4.00 per seat.
  • Birthday Parties:  Special arrangements can be made for a birthday party.  Please make reservations with the Auditorium Chairperson of the series you wish to attend, or with Mrs. Weber, prior to the date requested.
  • Lost Tickets:  If your child loses their ticket, a duplicate will be issued at no additional charge as a record is kept of every ticket sold.  Contact the Box Office Chairperson in your series.  See below for contact information.

Performances:

  • Place:  Performances are held in the Auditoriums of Wauwatosa East High School (7500 Milwaukee Avenue) or Wauwatosa West High School (11400 W. Center Street).
  • Time:  Plays are performed on Saturday afternoons, beginning at 2:00 p.m.  All programs are expected to be over at 3:15 p.m.  Box Office and Auditorium doors open at 1:30 p.m.
  • There is adult supervision at all times, at all performances.
  • Ushers:  Adult ushers are needed for each performance.  Ushers do not need a ticket when ushering.  Please call the Auditorium Chairperson to volunteer your services.
  • We ask your cooperation:  No food or toys will be allowed in the theatre during performances.
  • Lost & Found:  All items are kept by the Auditorium Chairperson, who is in the lobby at each performance.  If your child loses something please have him check at the next performance, or call the Auditorium Chaiperson in your series.
