Ben's Guide to US Government for Kids
Children from Kindergarten through grade 12 will find a variety of information about basic aspects of the United States and its government.
The 50 states are listed in alphabetical order with yellow file folder icons. Click on the state of your choice and you will receive all kinds of state information with additional hyperlinks to even more state facts. One neat link features state songs with the words and actual music that you can listen to.
Kids’ Space @ Internet Public Library - Stately Knowledge
The Stately Knowledge section of the Internet Public Library provides students with state fact sheet, active links to encyclopedia and almanac articles about each state, and other helpful links with additional state information. In addition, there are stately knowledge charts that compare states according to their sizes and populations, dates each state entered into the union, and by capitals, largest cities, birds, and flowers.
