The Wauwatosa School District has an enrollment of about 7,000 students in 9 elementary schools, one elementary charter STEM school and one elementary Montessori school. There are two middle schools and two high schools. The district also operates school programs at four institutions on the grounds of the Milwaukee County Regional Medical Center.
