The Wauwatosa School District has an enrollment of about 7,000 students in 9 elementary schools, one elementary charter STEM school and one elementary Montessori school. There are two middle schools, two high schools and a 2 year Trade charter high school. The district also operates school programs at four institutions on the grounds of the Milwaukee County Regional Medical Center.
