Student Learning

People say that change is good. Change in people, change in the weather, change in technology and change in organizations: change happens to everything and everyone. The pace at which change occurs is accelerating in the information age so the only thing we know for sure is that tomorrow will be different than today.

The Wauwatosa School District has certainly evolved over the last few years, and given the realities we face, it will go through many more changes in the near future. The shifting national educational landscape, outside forces from state and federal governments, and new knowledge gained from educational research, is pushing us away from doing things the way we always have done.

The Wauwatosa School District is committed to providing a viable curriculum which allows all students to achieve to their fullest potential. Our goal is to continuously grow all students capacity in learning, leadership and service so that they can thrive as gobal citizens.
