GERMAN CLUBBERS! The final German Club meeting of the year takes place tonight at 3:30 in Rm. 3. So please join us...bring a dollar and a friend and let's learn something about German culture!
Wauwatosa Teen Troupes will be having tryouts for “The Emperor’s New Clothes” on May 22 and 23 from 7:30-9:00PM at Longfellow Middle School, in the auditorium. Only 7th and 8th graders are eligible to try out.
There will be tryouts for “Little Red Riding Hood” for 6th and 7th graders on June 12 from 7-8PM at Longfellow. Stop by the office for more info.
Attention girls’ volleyball players! Next year Whitman will be having a girl’s volleyball team. Teams will form in August with tryouts (before the school-year begins). Practices will be held 2-3 days per week in September and October with games on the weekend at Center Court in Waukesha. Your homebase teacher will be passing out flyers to you today with more information. Should you have any questions, we will have a quick meeting in Mr. Liker's room after school on Thursday.
Any 8th grade girls interested in golf next year should pick up a flyer in the office. All levels are welcome.
We will be having a one day buy one get one free book fair on Thursday, in room 10. It will be open from 8 until 4:15PM. It will also be open during the orchestra concert from 6:30-9PM. This is a great opportunity to buy books for your summer reading. Hope to see you there.
If you are interested in trying out for the Whitman Wolverine dance team, please attend try outs today from 3:45 until 5:45pm in the cafeteria and Wednesday right after school till 4:30. You must attend both to try out.
Good afternoon all track athletes. We will be having our end of the year pizza party on Wednesday from 2:30 -3:15 in the cafeteria. Please see one of the track coaches for a pizza order form. All track uniforms must be turned in at this time. Athletes who do not turn in their uniforms will be issued a fine from the school. Hope to see everyone there on Wednesday!
Paw Press staff we are changing the date for our Pizza lunch. The new date is next week Thursday. Stop in the office or the library to pick up an envelope to pay. Please join us to celebrate a very successful year and to hear about the high school newspaper.

Attention cooking club, don't forget our last meeting of the year is Tuesday. Bring your mittens... Seriously! We are making ice cream and your hands will get cold! But it will be worth it in the end when we eat Tommy homemade ice cream! Our meeting will end at 4:15 this week rather than 4:30. Don't forget to sign up in the office and don't forget to bring $2.00 to help with the cost of food.
