Mission Statement

It is Wilson's mission to stimulate each child to his/her highest academic potential through a challenging and motivating curriculum.  It is through this curriculum that we teach students how to learn.  Our goals are to integrate the basic skills into all curricular areas, and to equip students with strategies to examine, evaluate, synthesize, and communicate ideas effectively both orally and in writing.

We of the Wilson School community recognize that students are individuals with unique gifts and varying talents.  We intend to provide to all students opportunities to fully utilize their strengths, gifts, interests, and talents.

The mission includes maintaining a warm, caring, safe, and orderly environment where high expectations are nurtured in an atmosphere of mutual respect.  Here each child's potential is recognized and valued through diligence and cooperation among child, staff, and home.
