Art From Lincoln Student Joins District's Collection ... Each year, the Wauwatosa School Board chooses a few pieces of student artwork to add to the district's art collection. The pieces, submitted by K-12 teachers, are chosen for their originality and quality. After hanging in the boardroom for a few years, this piece, created by Natalie Matthai, will be returned to Lincoln where it will remain on display permanently.

Lincoln Playground Upgrade
The Lincoln PTO has developed a playground upgrade plan that involves adding new play equipment pieces and replacing some of the most worn-out ones. The total cost for the project is approximately $40,000, but the PTO and the school district are making significant contributions that offset about two-thirds of the cost. However, that still leaves about $13,000 for the school to raise from famiies and the community. If the funds are raised quickly enough, the playground upgrades can occur this summer.
