Welcome to Jefferson School. We are an Early Childhood through fifth grade building with approximately 300 students and 42 full and part time staff. Our goal is to provide your child with the educational challenges and social opportunities that will help create a strong future generation.

 
Our New Mascot Is ... ???
 
Jefferson School has chosen a new mascot, and we are having a contest to see who can guess who our new mascot is.  Every day, a new clue will be announced at the end of the school day and posted on our website.  Here's a list of the clues so far:
 
* Monday, February 6 - Our new mascot is a mammal that lives in North and South America.
* Tuesday, February 7 - It is a mammal that climbs trees.
* Wednesday, February 8 - It is a mammal that is a good swimmer.
* Thursday, February 9 - A mammal that is born in a litter and is blind at birth.
* Thursday, February 9 - A solitary mammal that lives, explores and hunts alone
* Friday, February 10 - A carnivore that eats meat and fish.
* Friday, February 10 - In the wild, this mammal can live from 12 to 15 years.
