The Wauwatosa School District consists of 9 traditional elementary schools, one elementary charter STEM school and one elementary Montessori school. At the secondary level there are two middle schools, two traditional high schools and one 2 year trade high school. The Wauwatosa School District also educates children at various facilities that are part of the Milwaukee County Medical Complex or adjacent county institutions.
