Welcome to the Wauwatosa School District's Report to the Community page.  On this page you will find valuable district information as it relates to student achievement and assessment.  You can click on the links to find specific information as it appears on the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's website. You can also download the district's yearly development plan, which offers a summary of initiatives addressed by the district each year. A link added in the fall of 2012 provides information on the State Report Card for each Wauwatosa school.

Throughout the year, the district will continue to keep you updated on student performance data and other important information through a number of publications, the district's website and the district's public access cable channel, Channel 13 on Time Warner Cable.

DATA ANALYSIS

The Wauwatosa School District, like all school districts in Wisconsin, is required to report specific data each year to the Department of Public Instruction.  This data is then posted to the Wisconsin Information Network for Successful Schools (WINSS) website.

Below are links to the state Department of Public Instruction's WINSS website and data that shows how students are performing academically, attendance and behavior data, demographic data as well as information about staff.

This year is the first year the Wauwatosa School District, and all public schools in the State of Wisconsin will have a School Report Card.  All of our schools have been given an initial score and rating.  These scores are a starting point for growth for all Wauwatosa schools.
