Food Service Payment New Provider Information- February 15, 2012

Families have been notified that the computerized debit system used by Sodexo and the District will be changing from e-Funds to a new system One Source by Horizon, all schools will use this system. Beginning Friday, February  17, 2012 all accounts will be individual per student.  Families will still have the option of paying electronically through MyPaymentsPlus.  Click on the graphic  or HERE to be connected to MyPaymentsPlus.

FAQ FOR NEW CAFETERIA SOFTWARE/MY PAYMENTS PLUS

 

  1. Why are the funds in my family meal account being split evenly among my children? 
    The new software program requires this step as part of the initial set up. 
    For security purposes, parents and cashiers do not have access to transfer funds from one student to another.  You may reallocate funds after February 20, 2012; to reallocate funds:  after February 20, 2012, call 414-773-1063 or  email .
     
  2. Can I still make electronic payments to my family meal account through Efunds?
    Payments can be made through Efunds until NOON on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2012.  Efund payments will NOT be accepted after noon, Wednesday, February 15, 2012. 
     
  3. How do I make electronic payments to my family meal account?
    Beginning on Friday, February 17, 2012, you will be able to make electronic payments through MyPaymentsPlus.
     
  4. Will I use the same family ID and pin numbers?
    No.  You will log on to MyPaymentsPlus.com and create a username and password.  To do so, you will need your child/s’ student ID number which can be obtained from your child/s’:
    1. Report card;
    2. Schedule; or
    3. Student ID card or
    4. By contacting the school office.
       
  5. Will I continue to receive low account balance email notifications from the school district? 
    No.  To request email notifications:
    1. Create an account on MyPaymentsPlus.com
    2. Go to the Manage Account tab
    3. Choose Opt-in to receive email notifications

      Email notifications will come directly from MyPaymentsPlus.

       
  6. When are my payments reflected in the balance/s? 
    MyPaymentsPlus balance/s will be displayed in “pending payments.”  The funds should be available in minutes but could take up to 48 hours. 

    To ensure  your funds have been applied and are ready for use, use the payment tracking arrows.  All arrows highlighted indicates the school has received the funds and are ready for use.

  7. Can a sibling at the same school use the same account? 
    No.  Each student has a unique student ID number.  Multiple children can be registered on a single MyPaymentsPlus account—parents can add funds for all children within a single district in one easy, secure transaction.

     
  8. How secure is my on-line or telephone transaction? 
    MyPaymentsPlus offers the 128 bit encryption site SSL/secure locket layer.  We are certified by VISA for its CISP/Cardholder Information Security program.  This certification is VISA’s highest security protocol.
