The students of Challenge Seminar, East's honors course, have the chance to foster pen-pal relationships with primary students at Mission Kitunda Primary School in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania through the Opportunity Education Foundation. 

This past summer, Opportunity Education selected me to visit our sister school in Tanzania. To receive the privilege and honor of meeting the teachers and students of Mission Kitunda, along with other urban and rural schools scattered throughout Tanzania, has deepened my commitment to quality education throughout the world.
