Welcome to my page. I am a graduate of Carroll College (BS) and Fordham University (MA) and started my career as a middle school teacher in the New York City public school system. It was there that I ignited my passion for teaching and developed my firm belief that all students can learn if given the opportunity. In 2000, I earned my National Board Certification in adolescent/young adult English language arts and then came to East High School.

Since coming to East, I have become an integral member of our community through professional collaborations to develop exemplary teaching practices. I am currently teaching English 11, Media Communication, and Challenge Seminar, but I have also taught a variety of other courses in our department. In addition to my role as a classroom educator, I am also serving as the secondary Communicative Arts Team Leader.
