Your Back-to-School Headquarters

As the calendar turns from July to August, many families are starting to think about heading back to school. The district has created a web page that includes all the information you need to be prepared for the start of school. Ready to shop for school supplies and need a supply list? Have questions about registering your child for classes? What immunizations does your child need? Wondering when your school has scheduled its forms and fees day? You can find the answer to those questions and many more by clicking here.

Remember, classes start Tuesday, Sept. 1. Enjoy the rest of the summer!

Thomas Steiner Memorial Golf Outing a Success

Thanks to everyone who participated in and donated to the 2009 Thomas Steiner Memorial Golf Outing for Tosa Athletic Fields. Over 50 golfers took part in the annual event to help raise funds to support athletic facility improvement projects throughout the district. The event was held at Ironwood Golf Course in Sussex.

The outing is named after Thomas Steiner who worked tirelessly to better the Wauwatosa School District. His passion was golf and his dream was quality athletic fields for the students of Wauwatosa. The Thomas Steiner Memorial Golf Outing for Tosa Athletic Fields was created to carry on that dream of helping the district develop athletic fields by using a combination of district funds and fundraised money.

District Calendar Coming Soon!

What does the Wauwatosa public schools’ educational community look like? When you open the pages of the district's new community calendar you'll see! The images and sentiments—and even the monthly schedules—that fill this year's calendar illustrate how the district's commitment to student learning is at the center of all we do.

The 2009-2010 Wauwatosa School District calendar is a helpful resource mailed to parents and guardians, district retirees and members of our Gold Pass senior program. It also is available to community members at the main office of each school in the district, the district’s administrative offices, and the Wauwatosa Public Library.

Watch for the district community calendar coming in August!
