Technology Resources Acceptable Use (Student)

Click the link below to open a file that contains the acceptable use guidelines for the use of district technology resources by students.

The agreement is an "opt-out" document.  The responsible use of technology resources is such an integral part of a students education that it is expensive and unnecessarily cumbersome to print, mail, and require a signature from every district family for every district student.  Instead, by default, all Wauwatosa School District students are granted access to technology resources with the understanding that, with appropriate review both at home and at school, they will comply with these guidelines.

If you are a parent or guardian that wishes to opt out of this agreement on your students behalf, or if you are an age of majority student that wishes to opt-out of the agreement, print and sign the opt-out page at the end of the document and return the page to your schools Library Media Specialist.

Realize that by doing so your student will not be granted access to the district’s network or technology resources and it may have a negative effect on his/her education.
