Miracle League
Every Child Gets a Turn at Bat with Universally-Accessible Baseball Field Everyone deserves the chance to play baseball! This summer, the Miracle League of Milwaukee will give kids ages 4 ? 19 who have physical or cognitive challenges, the opportunity to get outside and play the game of baseball! The Miracle League of Milwaukee and the Y have partnered to provide the Milwaukee-area with the first universally-accessible baseball field, which is custom-designed for accessibility and features a special, rubberized surface for added safety. All players will be partnered with volunteers, known as ?buddies,? to assist them during the action. The John C. Cudahy YMCA Miracle League Field is located at 9050 N. Swan Road, in Milwaukee. For additional details on how you can get involved, visit the Miracle League of Milwaukee Web site at www.miracleleaguemilwaukee.org or call Jamie Spotts 414.274.0758.
